Installing your new bar sink can be fairly simple, or extremely elaborate. It all has to do with the sort of sink you purchase. If you thought you would add a drop in type sink, as long as you already have the perfect sized hole in the counter top, the installation is pretty simple. If you have decided on an undermount sink, installation can be a great deal trickier. With a top bracket sink, you basically just need a hole in the counter which the sink will drop into. This type of sink has a flange, or lip, that operates all the way around the sink and sits on top of the counter top. Because this flange overhangs the counter, the edge of the opening does not have to be finished. In fact , if the hole is kind of ragged, no one will ever understand as long as you use a top mounted sink. The sink can then be fastened from below the kiosk with screws and tiny plates that hold the drain in place.
