Double Bowl vs . Solo Bowl Sinks. The current pattern is starting to change in the stainless steel undermount sink. Before most people preferred a dual bowl sink, however just one large bowl is being picked much more frequently. It would seem so many people are using the dishwasher and they require a larger single sink to scrub just the pots and pans. It should be noted which the largest undermount single dish on the market today is typically 30 inches wide long (measured horizontally) simply by 18 inches wide (front to back). This does not seem like huge difference from the typical double pan that measures 33 inches long (measured horizontally) simply by 22 inches wide (front to back), but the reality is the reduction of the sink size allows for much greater room behind the sink which will today open up your faucet selections and it also allows placement of the sink a little farther back in the countertop which allows the front edge of the counter top more various meats which helps significantly in keeping breakage of the countertop to a minimum. This is truly important because most solid surface area countertops fail at this vital point not only at unit installation but a year or two after set up after your fabricator is currently no longer responsible.
