Installing your new bar sink can be fairly simple, or incredibly elaborate. It all has to do with the sort of sink you purchase. If you thought you would add a drop in type sink, as long as you already have a good sized hole in the countertop, the installation is pretty simple. If you have decided on an undermount sink, installation can be a lot trickier. With a top mt . sink, you basically just desire a hole in the counter the fact that the sink will drop in. This type of sink has a flange, or lip, that runs all the way around the sink and sits on top of the countertop. Because this flange overhangs the counter, the edge of the pin does not have to be finished. In fact , if the hole is kind of ragged, no one will ever know as long as you use a top mounted sink. The sink can then be fastened from below the stand with screws and tiny plates that hold the sink in place.
