Installing your new bar kitchen sink can be fairly simple, or very elaborate. It all has to do with the type of sink you purchase. If you chose to add a drop in type sink, as long as you already have the ideal sized hole in the countertop, the installation is easy. If you have decided on an undermount sink, installation can be a whole lot trickier. With a top position sink, you basically just need a hole in the counter the fact that the sink will drop into. This type of sink has a flange, or lip, that works all the way around the sink and sits on top of the countertop. Because this flange overhangs the counter, the edge of the tooth cavity does not have to be finished. In fact , if the hole is kind of ragged, no one will ever understand as long as you use a top mounted sink. The sink can now be fastened from below the bar with screws and tiny plates that hold the kitchen sink in place.
